Keevil airfield is home to Bannerdown gliding club. The club was formed on the 25th January 1960 at RAF Colerne, later moved to RAF Hullavington in 1978 and finally to RAF Keevil in October 1992. We enjoy the use of a large airfield with multiple Asphalt runway directions. A nearby ridge, in land location and occasional wave lift makes for interesting flying all year around.
